INDEX[2] Participating Japanese companies with high expectations of fresh business opportunities <Introduction of exhibitors>

3rd PARTY LLC

Showcasing mainly denim fabrics

3rd Party LLC marks its debut at Intertextile Shanghai. The company serves as a trading company/converter, which deals with premium textiles selected from all over Japan, collaborating with several renowned textile manufacturers to propose wide-ranging and unique fabric collections representing each textile region.

On this occasion, the highlighted line-ups will include: classic denim fabrics from the Okayama region, featuring rope-dyed indigo yarns applied for warp and weft threads woven by a shuttle loom. Fabrics with different specialised compositions and/or dyeing and finishing from the Bingo region will also be on show, such as medium to thick varieties suitable for jackets or bottoms. Rounding off the range will be traditional canvas cloths, woven with a power loom and using super bulky yarns for both warp and weft from the Kurashiki textile region.

The company already holds export records to the China markets and aims to further enhance their business, as reflected in this comment: ‘We believe the China markets are set for further growth going forward, so we definitely intend to boost awareness of our products by joining Intertextile Shanghai.’

GRANTEX CN&VN / HATTORI SHOKAI CO., LTD.

GRANTEX awash with functionality

HATTORI SHOKAI CO., LTD. has established a wholly owned company, SHANGHAI G-ALPHA INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD., in Shanghai, providing stock service of GRANTEX textiles. The company handles its planning and development in Tokyo, mainly to offer fabrics used in military items or casual workwear. They propose unique products, without any compromise on quality and awash with abundant colour variations and thread counts, alongside secondary processing techniques. Production takes place in China, Taiwan and Vietnam, while exports are managed in a sales warehouse in Shanghai, with settlements in the Chinese yuan currency. The company also strives to ensure a level of third-party quality control and fabric inspection on a par with what would be expected in Japan, for even higher levels of quality.

On this occasion, highlights go to recycled polyester taffeta processed with fluorine-free water repellency to add a water pressure resistance function, alongside other outstanding items such as water-repellent cotton poplin with exceptional functions including moisture permeability and water pressure resistance and lightweight recycled cotton/polyester, featuring excellent breathability and/or water repellency.

SOJITZ FASHION CO., LTD.

Capable of same-day shipping with stock service

SOJITZ FASHION CO., LTD. is a regular exhibitor and this time round will mark its ninth time participating, focusing on textile exports to China via its local company; SOJITZ VANCET (SHANGHAI) TRADING CO., LTD. Their aim on this occasion will be ‘to boost client numbers, while maintaining contacts with new and existing customers.’ The company functions as a textile converter handling complete stock operation, with 1,200 or so articles in Japan and 150 in China. They can even ship products in stock on a same-day basis, which is a real stand-out advantage.

On this occasion, they will focus on NANO-processed typewriter fabrics that retain water/oil repellent functions, in which cotton (with a yarn count of 50) is used for the warp and stretchable T400 applied for the weft. Also on show will be twill woven with full-dull nylon yarns for a natural-fibre look, alongside double weave stretch twill (polyester and cotton on the front and rear respectively); an excellent antistatic fabric interwoven with antistatic threads.
