The company provides an integrated system across the board, including processing/finishing techniques and ranging from dyeing to brushing, plus polishing. The factory also focuses on sustainability: finishing reserved for vegetable dyeing, handling small-batch orders and manufacturing of wide-ranging products, with quick-response service. < Botanix > is a textile retaining a natural and yet profound tonality, featuring natural (veg-based) dyeing of raw organic cotton, while < BOTADEGI > is a hybrid finishing technique combining the soft tonality of natural (vegetable) dye and digital hues and blending organic cotton with recycled polyester. Other line-ups include: <SKION>; a hygienic and antibacterial-deodorant processed product alongside <moithy>; a processed amenity with moisturizing qualities, to name but a few. Their comment reflects high expectations: ‘We hope to promote our company to many buyers with an interest in vegetable dyeing, despite ongoing hardships amid COVID-19. ’ ![]() SUNALPHA CO., LTD. <A-1> Dealing with diversified demands SUNALPHA, located in Chuo-Ward, Osaka City, deals in textile production and wholesale sales for womenswear as well as handling OEM/ODM business. As for textile production, they work with major domestic textile regions, including Yonezawa, Kiryu and Bishu, while developing original designs. They have a long track record of fabrics imported from Europe which explains their ability to handle customer demands across the board. Furthermore, since their portfolio includes owning cooperative factories in China, they can handle small-batch orders with cost benefit. As for the category of sustainable textiles, they intend to showcase fabrics using recycled polyester with raw material made from used plastic bottles, alongside elegant and ecological fabrics made from pure hemp grown in the prolific Blackland area of the Northeast China Plain. Other stand-out items include: a natural-organic-derived deodorant: ‘Lonfresh’, specially designed to suppress the bacteria behind body odour leaving you cleaner and more secure. They eagerly express their motivation as follows: ‘We decided to participate in the fair for the first time, aiming to enhance sales of our textiles made with high Japanese technicity, not only to domestic buyers but also those from China and Korea and promote our one-stop service for textile and OEM.’ ![]() CHAMBRAY CO., LTD. <A-73> Showcasing yarn-dyed and patterned fabrics CHAMBRAY, based in Chuo-Ward, Tokyo, specialises in yarn-dyed patterned fabrics, which are produced domestically and in overseas cooperative factories. They leverage a wealth of experience and insights to manufacture a constant stream of original products stocked in Japan and China, available from a single roll. What sets them apart is bespoke products and service tailored to all kinds of customer demands and as well as owning an integral production system from fabrics to finished products, they also sell pattern design data. Recently, they have been expanding the range of items handled to include environmentally-friendly organic fabrics, knits and cut and sewn items. In sustainable terminology, highlight items include: <060003>; traditional tartan check patterned twill, an Oxford item, <PRT21SS018>; using GOTS certified organic cotton, alongside <CTL0002>; a striped fabric using high-density stretch ‘SOLOTEX’. Apart from the abovementioned fabrics, they will showcase products such as: <SH2237>; a specifically processed high-density stripe item; 100% cotton retaining an easy-care function, a moderate tensive feel and a premium sleek texture and textile using linen and linen-blend as well as functional yarns, all of which are originally produced with the right patterns and colour coordination. Nothing inspires them more than: ‘meeting new apparel customers and bringing home to them the potential of their company to collaborate and create future fabric inventions.’ ![]() TATSUTA SPINNING CO., LTD. <D-33> All-in-one production from fabrics to complete products TATSUTA SPINNING has participated in the JFW-JC show more than a decade ago and decided to attend the PTJ show on this occasion to further cultivate their market, pick up new customers and enhance their fabric selection by adapting to current situational changes. The company’s advantage is an integral production system - from spinning to manufacturing fabrics and complete products, with high production capability. Owning an in-house spinning laboratory paves the way to produce particular yarns with specific raw materials/textures, which are then optimized for fabrics, including cut and sewn items. In sustainability terms, what they intend to showcase includes: cut and sewn fabrics using hybrid yarns; a blend of highly biodegradable PLA (polylactic acid) fibre and natural cotton fibre, which are environmentally conscious yet retain a cotton-derived natural skin feel, alongside stand-out yarns made into cut and sewn products – made by blending pima cotton and regenerated fibre; modal, which retains moisturizing and moisture-absorption qualities and a lustrous-feel for a premium-quality touch and high cost performance. The company is also a member of BCI (The Better Cotton Initiative) and has striven to develop cut and sewn products using cotton by spinning/knitting in their in-house facility to contribute to a sustainable society as an activity. They will also present fabrics by reformulating cotton itself; a product made of 100% natural fibre yet retaining an antibacterial and deodorizing qualities. This item also offers exceptional and semi-permanent fastness to washing, unlike post-processed items. ![]() NAKAHANE INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD. <C-40> Showcasing items centring on new silk-blends NAKAHANE INTERNATIONAL, based in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is set for its inaugural appearance at the fair. Its stand-out feature is long-established production of silk textiles, alongside lace fabrics optimising diversified printing/embroidery techniques. The company is capable of dealing integrally starting from fabrics to complete products, in line with their local subsidiary in Shanghai, China. On this occasion, the selection of items will include a wealth of elaborately designed lace treats and unique prints and embroidery alongside silk blends retaining new textures. They plan to further promote fabric development using raw materials such as organic, bio-based and/or recycled elements going forward. They also handle OEM business dealing with woven/cut and sewn fabrics for womenswear, shirts, lace dresses, materials for all of which are procurable in China, Meanwhile, their premium range of knitwear, mainly centring on natural fibre; cashmere, silk, silk-wool and linen, is reserved for Japan. They own dozens of automatic knitting machines, with gauges from 5G-16G in in-house factories, to cope with small-batch orders. Their objective of joining the fair is ‘to boost recognition among buyers and cultivate new customers at the same time.’ ![]() ![]() |
