Company introduction

              - supporting materials, knits -

SUN LOOK CO., LTD. C-69

Competing with unrivalled originality

Established in Fukui City in July 1984, the company specialises in manufacturing lace/embroidery. They first opened their Tokyo office in Chuo Ward in 1994 as a venue in which to exchange dialog with customers constantly seeking novelty, followed by their Tochigi factory in Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture, in September 2016. Their forte is product development that exploits unique and original parts to the full and they strive to ‘propose stand-out products to apparel companies, thoroughly and in a way that reflects their principle to provide products of unrivalled originality at PTJ this time.’

One of the highlight items is cording embroidery; processing to embroider design yarns, tapes or ribbons on fabrics and including tape embroidery. Lace items made with a newly installed specific embroidery machine are also set to go on display.

KANEMASA KNITTING CO., LTD. D-80

Woven-like circular knits

Specialised in super-fine gauge single jacquard (36-44 G), KANEMASA KNITTING CO., LTD. from Wakayama City has even earned attention from overseas maisons. They also exhibit at overseas fairs - namely Première Vision and Milano Unica - and intend to showcase fabrics that were well received overseas at PTJ on this occasion.

The company possesses a globally unique modified computer jacquard machine and prioritises unrivalled textures originating from exclusive orders; including yarns and processing. High-density circular knitted fabrics with a woven-like texture are popular thanks to the weave patterns they can express. Although their fabrics are mainly based on natural fibres, they also produce fabrics using polyester for customers who seek functionality such as easy-care. Their uniqueness also lies in dealing with systems such as small-batch by order and short delivery.

Their Tokyo office located in Shibuya Ward deals directly with apparel companies and can also handle OEM/ODM. They fully leverage their strength of direct linkage to factories, by presenting collection line-ups from casual items to wide-ranging categories for both men and women, as well as meticulously controlling adjustments of yarns/composition, finishing and patterns.

NORITAKE D-92

Wide-ranging fleece variation

NORITAKE is a jersey manufacturer located in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture and this will mark their 4th participation at PTJ. They handle selected raw materials, designing/planning, production and sales; focusing mainly on high-gauge items for outer clothing. As jersey set-up items are generally popular in the apparel industry, they have been supplying jerseys that excel in stretchability for the past two decades, as well as unique fabrics incorporating both modish and comfortable elements to apparel brands with high sensitivity.

Most of the sales are direct to apparel, risk stocking 40-50 marks of fabrics to cope with demands for advance lengths, as well as for small-batch/short delivery and handling colouring requests by reserving grey fabrics at their own risk. They also deal with functionally processed materials to meet customers’ requests and are currently developing new samples of water-repellent finished fabrics by yarns.

On this occasion, they will showcase ’a new line-up of fleecy fabrics’; applicable for parka-like garments for example, alongside thin-type fabrics; plus compound fabric featuring synthetic fibres and a sporty feel as part of efforts to ’cultivate new customers at PTJ’.
