Introducing selected exhibitors

TOYOSHIMA & CO., LTD.          - Promoting < FOOD TEXTILE > -

photo_TOYOSHIMA & CO., LTD.

FOOD TEXTILE is a textile brand that focuses on the “colours” of food; based on the concept of ‘wearable vegetables’. We turn food residues that would otherwise have been disposed of into everyday fashion items you can enjoy; pushing the boundaries from fashion to food residue recycling.

TATSUMI WEAVING CO., LTD.   - Newly exhibiting at the Japan Pavilion -

We produce fine fabrics from a base of cotton yarn, while also bringing other varieties on board, such as linen, wool, triacetate, cupra, polyester and nylon. We are very proud of our high-density fabrics, which are made from extra-fine cotton yarns with counts from 80- to 100/1. All our fabrics are piece-dyed and finished in a process unique to Japan.

We focus on fabric development that can deliver a natural mood, including natural-looking synthetic fabrics centring on easy-care-based textiles, as an extension of our cotton project, which has continued from spring/summer 2019. Among our products on show: prints awash with fresh and vivid aspects, a wide-ranging variety of expressive jacquard with a luxurious, premium fee and more. We will be presenting premium and uncompromising Japan-quality fabrics in a wealth of colours and produced at our own risk - providing ‘myriad items, produced in small batches and cycles’ - to buyers from China.
