The Japan Pavilion Spring Edition, which started in 2015, celebrates its third participation this spring. Although not on the scale of the autumn edition, we are pleased to present a range of selected companies, many of which are enjoying constant business expansion, with a domestic base established in China. The present Japan Pavilion is one of the most popular pavilions in the international hall and envied by the adjacent foreign pavilions.
One of the reasons that buyers intentionally visit Japanese companies among the hundreds of thousands of ITSA exhibitors – is, quote ‘The abundance of fabric ranges’, ranging from synthetics (fashion/function categories) and natural fibre-related products such as cotton, wool and silk, alongside cut-and-sewn items, prints, denim, lace/embroidery and furthermore supporting materials; all truly unique and unrivalled by any other pavilions. Similarly, the key aspect in which Japan companies excel is the way they ‘keep on launching unique fabrics not found elsewhere.’ Japanese companies constantly seeking originality or something special have recently been attracting increasing interest from Chinese apparel brands keen to stand out. As well as fabric quality, the ‘stock-sale’ function which allows ‘immediate delivery’ mainly by converters as well as guaranteed ‘reliability’ against troubles, embodies the strength of Japanese companies to the same extent. |
