To achieve the SDGs, we've also been working on reusing our own residual silk thread. |

PARANOMAD textiles are woven with a rapier loom that employs a specification rare in Japan. They are woven slowly and carefully, so as not to burden the thread, and I specialize in techniques such as gradation dyeing by brush and needle felting.
Based in Tango, in the north of Kyoto prefecture, I connect to textile producing areas all over Japan. I am involved in all aspects of the work, from planning to production. |

Located in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture, the Tango Peninsula is a town of textiles made in the morning for about 1300 years. To this day, a wide variety of fabrics such as Tango Chirimen have been produced. Shibata Senbutsu was established in 1886 by hand. Eventually, he started to produce Tango chirimen (silk crepe) by using a power loom, and in 1986, he started to produce nuitori chirimen (silk crepe), which was considered the highest quality fiber. We will start producing Rurusode and visitors. The fifth generation, Yuji Shibata, started to make products by combining the technique of sewing chirimen (silk crepe) with the modern sense, and the designer, Colleccio. We have expanded the possibilities to a wide range of fields such as cloth and movie costumes. Drawing sketches from customers' images and ideas, turning them into fiber data, matching the color of the thread, and building the castle on a shuttle machine. SHIBATA FIBROAD IS ALL IN OUR COMPANY. We consistently manufacture products. From the order of 10m, we will suggest the idea of the customer as a string. |

kuska fabric interacts with each material, and takes the fluffiness, shade, and gentle texture created by the handiwork of artisans, alternating one right twist and one left twist of the weft yarn at a time, to the future.
kuska fabric aims to be the one and only global brand “with the pride of 300 years of beautiful manufacturing of tango textiles.” |
